Frequently asked questions
Where is my data stored? Everything stays on your device. Moto Buddy has no account, no cloud sync, and no server — your bikes, maintenance logs, lap times, and settings live only on your phone. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I load a service schedule for my bike? Open a bike, go to the Maintenance section, and tap Get Service Schedule on the Suggested Maintenance tab. This loads the default service intervals for your bike. Declaring your bike as 2-stroke or 4-stroke gives you intervals matched to your engine type.
Why is my Suggested Maintenance list empty? A new bike with no hours logged has nothing due yet. Tap Get Service Schedule to load the intervals; items appear as they come due against your hour meter.
Can I hide maintenance items I don't need? Yes. Swipe a suggested item to mute it. Muted items are hidden from the main list, and you can reveal and unmute them any time from the Suggested Maintenance screen.
How do I share a bike's history with a shop or buyer? Open the bike, scroll to the bottom of the Bike Details page, and tap Export to Others to generate a shareable file of that bike's maintenance history, modifications, and settings.
How do I back up my data? Use Export Data in Settings to save a file containing all your data to a location you choose. This is your backup — DirtDreams never receives a copy.
I found a bug — how do I send diagnostics? In App Settings, tap Send Diagnostic Report. This opens a pre-addressed email draft to support@dirtdreams.net with an on-device diagnostic log attached. Nothing is sent unless you tap Send.
